Do you love vintage illustrations? Do you love gardening? Or both?
This week I made a set of 2017 vegetable garden calendar from some of my favorite vintage vegetable illustrations!
When we hear the word ” beautiful”, it is easy to think of flowers. These gorgeous illustrations will remind us to celebrate the unique beauty of all the vegetables and the delicious abundance of each season.
In case you missed it, the 3D 2017 calendar can be found here.
To make this set of garden calendar, download ( at the end of article) and print out the designs on six sheets of 8.5×11 paper, with two months on each sheet. ( Some of the helpful resources are affiliate links. Full disclosure here. )
I like to use this this good quality card stock, which holds its shape nicely.
Cut out each month with an Xacto knife, that’s all you need to do!
Most of these vintage illustrations are from historic encyclopedias or books on vegetable gardening, dating back to the 1800s. Aren’t they lovely?
It would also make a great little gift for those friends who love vintage art, cooking, or gardening!
Talking about gardening, I am already planning our winter and spring garden, using this free printable planting calendar.
