Free Printable Flower Greeting Cards

Lately I have been painting many flowers with brush markers (tutorial coming soon). I love how vibrant the colors are and how easy it is to pack them on nature walks! Then it occurred to me: “Why not make them into greeting cards?”

So many times just when we need a greeting card, we do not have time to run to the store and get one. Does that sound familiar? With these printable greeting cards, this will never be a problem again!

You can even get fancy and print them on watercolor or other special papers to create a handmade look! Now let’s make some gorgeous greeting cards…

Supplies you will need:

( Some of the helpful resources are affiliate links. Full disclosure here. )

This set of 50 Textured Heavyweight Note Cards with matching envelopes . Each letter size (8.5” x 11”) sheet will make two cards at 4.25” x 5.5” each.

Another type of paper I like is this good quality card stock from Amazon  ( or this one which is similar ) which I have used on many projects.

I have formatted the greeting card designs for both letter size paper and 5×7 cards. You can download them at the end.

There are three types of greeting cards in this free bundle for you-

Thank You Cards,  Birthday Cards, and Blank Greeting Cards.

To make 4.25”x5.5” greeting cards print them on either pre-scored cardstock like these, or letter size cardstock, or watercolor paper cut to size.

The cards with white background designs will require no additional trimming.

Those with colored background there will be a white border because of printing. You can trim them easily with an X-acto knife or scissors.

I also included some designs in 5”x7” format you can print on blank 5×7 note cards or on 8.5×11 paper, which you can trim later.

  1. Beautiful. Thank you for sharing your gift.
What type of printer do you like to use for these diy cards? They scream lots of ink and refills with my inkjet printer. What do diyers and crafters like to use that are relatively affordable and produce a nice quality product for projects like this? Do you print from home or utilize copy places with industrial type printers? Thank you.
